English UI Procedure¶
Step 1 — Open Admin Console¶
Method 1 (preferred): WeCom desktop → click your avatar (top-left) → Manage Company → admin console opens in browser already authenticated.
Method 2 (if browser opens directly): work.weixin.qq.com → top-right → Enterprise Login → scan with WeCom app → confirm enterprise.
⚠️ Do NOT scan admin console QR from outside WeCom — protocol handler error: "跳转客户端失败".
Step 2 — Navigate to Smart Robot¶
Left sidebar → Security & Management → Management Tool → Smart Robot (智能机器人)
Step 3 — Create Bot¶
Click Create → choose Manual Setup (manual setup).
Step 4 — Configure¶

Step 5 — Save¶
Click Save (保存). Bot is live.
Step 6 — Test¶
In WeCom, search for the bot → start chat → ask: "What is our IoT data pipeline?"

Maintenance¶
- Edit bot: Smart Robot list → click bot name → edit → save
- Expand visible range: same edit page → Visible Range → adjust
- Add knowledge: edit → Knowledge Set → add docs
- Disable: set to disabled (preserves configuration)
Permissions Required¶
- WeCom super admin or scoped admin with permission:

Common Errors¶
